My roots in photography were self-taught from travel and adventure. Born in the outdoors, I spent my youth racing mountain bikes, summiting 20,000ft tall volcano’s in South America, and completing the entire 459 mile Colorado Trail self-supported via bike, all before the age of 21. Through it all, I used my camera to write my diary of these cherished moments.
To me, photography is a way to make the past come to life again. There is only so much detail our brains can recall from a certain time years ago, but with one glimpse of that moment from these photos, it can bring back waves of emotion and story telling. Photos never age. And I love getting to capture those moments for people.
